Dallas Fishing
Fishing around Dallas Texas can be fantastic. There
are several lakes in the Dallas area that are very good bass fishing lakes.
Lake Fork is by far the best bass fishing lake in the entire state. In
fact, the majority of the top 50 bass were caught in Lake Fork, including
the state record. From DFW, Lake Fork is about 2 hours away going east.
From Dallas Love Field, the lake is about 1 1/2 hours away. See hundreds
of big bass at bassfishing.org/Pictures/Recent.htm
I fish lake Fork all year long. In the winter, I also
fish Lake Monticello. Lake Monticello is a power plant lake that is almost
always warm and full. It has been around for a long time and held the
previous state record. For more info on Lake Monticello, click on the
Lake Monticello page
I guide on both lakes and hope to take you on one of
the great lakes in the Dallas area. For guide information, click on my
guide information page. For more information
on Lake Fork, see the Lake Fork information
page.
I will occasionally guide on Lake Lavon for white bass. I prefer to fish
Lavon during the last 2 weeks of May. During that time, the fishing on
Lake Fork isn't quite as good and I can usually get a limit of white bass
on Lake Lavon. Call or email if you are interested.
