     A big mistake many rookies make is to get emotionally attached to their favorite places. It is really easy to remember that great day you had on the lake one year and forget all the bad and mediocre days. Many rookie anglers will continue to go back to their favorite spots over and over again without an understanding of why the fish were there (or not there).
