largemouth bass, channel catfish, bluegill, and redear sunfish
Lake Welsh:
black bass: 5 fish over 18 inches
catfish: 25 per person over 12 inches
Advantages for fishermen:
light pressure except tournaments
cattails and hydrilla even in the winter
warm water in the winter
Disadvantages for fishermen:
long drive from Dallas
